This site belongs to RRG Plumbing & Heating (Ross Gorrie), Edinburgh. This page explains what the website collects, why, and how to get it removed. It is written to be read, not to cover us — if anything here is unclear, email [email protected] and ask.
When you contact us
If you fill in the enquiry form, we receive what you typed — typically your name, phone number, email address and a description of the job. We use it to reply to you and to quote for the work. We do not sell it, share it with advertisers, or add you to a marketing list.
Your enquiry lives in our email, not in a database. It arrives as an email and stays in our inbox for as long as we need it for the job and any follow-up. The service that sends it also keeps a copy for 30 days as a backup, then deletes it. If you would like your enquiry deleted sooner, just ask.
Cookies
This site sets no cookies of its own, and shows no cookie banner, because it does not need one. There is no Google Analytics, no advertising pixel, no Facebook tracking and no cross-site profiling on this website.
Measuring how the site is used
We count visits so we know whether the site is doing its job — which pages get looked at, roughly how far down them people read, and how many people tap the call, WhatsApp or email buttons. The counting is done by our hosting provider, Cloudflare, and by our own code on the page.
None of it identifies you. No name, no IP address, nothing stored on your device, and nothing that follows you to other websites. It is counting, not tracking.
Things embedded from elsewhere
The page includes a Google Map showing our service area. Google may record that your browser loaded that map, under Google’s own privacy policy.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email [email protected] and we will action it within one month. You can also raise a concern with the Information Commissioner’s Office, the UK’s data protection regulator (ico.org.uk) — though we’d far rather you came to us first so we can put it right.
